2008-2012 Mitsubishi EVO-X Perrin Zero Caster PSRS Perrin offers the Zero Positive Steering Response Kit (PSRS) for the 2008-2012 Lancer Evolution X. The Zero Kit does not adjust caster; caster is the angle at that the steering knuckle rotates on. Adding caster can make your EVO-X turn in faster by providing a larger contact patch as the wheels turn on the steering axis. A Perring PSRS is an anti-lift kit (ALK) designed to prevent wheel lift under hard acceleration in cornering. The anti-lift part of the kits are a very small feature compared to the overall benefits gained from using the solid connection the PSRS provides. The PSRS replaces the front control arm's rear bushing. The Evo's OEM bushing is designed to be compliant to reduce NVH, making the ride more comfortable. The compliancy of the Mitsubishi OEM bushing is not something a performance oriented driver is looking for. Eliminating the Evo's rubber OEM bushings provides significant improvement in how the car steers during hard cornering and even improves handling and stability in a straight line. Perrin's EVO-X PSRS Zero kit provides a solid bushing and maintains the OEM bushing's centered control arm to subframe mounting point. This centered hole keeps caster at factory settings, which is required for some racing classes (refer to your organization's rules to determine if bushing that offer caster adjustments are permitted). The Perrin PSRS Zero kit might be a better fit, and reduce rubbing if you are running aggressive (larger) wheel fitments.
