We have completed the installation and testing of the new 32 Way Adjustable Damper Coil Over Suspension Kit by Megan Racing.

Available for purchase here at EVOXTUNING.com

The kit was a fairly easy installation taking about 2 hours with basic hand tools without the use of a lift.  The kit gives you about 3 inches of suspension height adjustment and 32 levels of damper adjustment.  The front units feature camber adjustment plates at the top of the strut allowing for adjustments between street and track use.

The ride quality was surprisingly close to stock with the dampers set to # 15 all the way around.  We are going to continue to try different set-ups over the next couple weeks and will share our experiences with our readers.

One of the features we really love about this kit is the use of rear damper adjustment extension cables that allow you to adjust the rear dampers from cables neatly hidden away behind the battery and washer fluid resevoir covers in the trunk.  Without these extensions you'd have to remove the rear seat to gain access to the adjusters each time you need to make a change.  See picture below for rear damper adjustment locations.

Installation How To:

Front Suspension Removal:

Step 1:  Raise vehicle and remove all wheels and tires

Step 2:  Remove the (3) nuts from the upper strut mount (14mm socket wrench)

Step 3:  On the lower back side of the strut you will have to remove the 12mm nut holding the brake line brackets (the only one facing the engine)

Step 4:  Next remove the (2) 19mm nuts and bolts that connect to the wheel hub on the lower end of the strut. You should be able to remove the strut assembly at this point.

Step 5: Press down on the top of the hub or rotor to create spacing to remove the strut assembly from the vehicle.

Step 6:  Follow this procedure in reverse to install the new Megan Racing assembly.

Rear Suspension Removal:

Step 1:  Remove the rear seat from the vehicle (bottom bench is just snapped in place, upper cushion will need a 14mm socket wrench to remove the 3 bolts holding it in place)

Step 2:  Remove the backseat panels by using a right angle pick to take out the factory push clips.  We recommend you remove the styrofoam fillers (phillips screwdriver)  to the right and left of the spare tire for easier removal of panel.

Step 3:  Remove the (2) nuts from the upper strut mounts (14mm open end wrench)

Step 4:  On the lower end of the strut, you will be removing a long bolt with a 17mm socket and open wrench on the nut.

Step 5: Press down on the top of the hub or rotor to create spacing to remove the strut assembly from the vehicle.

Step 6:  Follow this procedure in reverse to install the new Megan Racing assembly.
